2021 OSHAWA GOLD BOND RACE

Minimum Distance

This race is open to fanciers within the UNC boundaries and all Oshawa members, however the minimum distance to Joburke shall be no less than 450 Km. All flyers must be in good standing with the CU, AU, or IF and must use bands recognized by the Federation Colombophile Internationale (FCI).

Bond purchased before July 31st, 2021
     1 Bond   (4 birds)  - $100.00
     2 Bonds (10 birds) - $200.00
     3 Bonds (17 birds) - $300.00
     4 Bonds (25 birds) - $400.00
Bond purchased after July 31st and up to shipping night
     1 Bond   (4 birds)  - $200.00
     2 Bonds (10 birds) - $400.00
     3 Bonds (17 birds) - $600.00

Birds will be placed by the Gold Bond Committee or make your own arrangements. Only birds entered by the out-of-area-breeder may be entered in the race, no substitute by the flyer. Out-of-area-birds will remain property of the flyer.

Prizes

Proceeds less 10% after expenses to the Oshawa General RPC, 25% of total prize money down to $25. If no birds are clocked in race time, money will be refunded less expenses. In the event that only a few birds are clocked in race time, prize money will be exhausted amongst those birds. This distribution to be determined by the Gold Bond Committee. Race will end when velocity drops below 400 mpm. All winnings will be paid to the loft of entry.

Progressive Pooling

$1.00. $2.00, $5.00, $10.00. $20.00, $50.00, $100.00 Paid Out 10 to 1

$20.00 per loft to be split 50%, 30%, 20%.

Shipping

Thursday September 9th, 2021 at the Oshawa clubhouse 557 Rundle Rd. Bowmanville 6:00-8:30 pm. Trailer will leave at 9:00 pm sharp. Direction’s Map

Strike Off

Strike off time to be posted on the Oshawa General RPC website and be held in the same location as shipping.

Clocks

CU approved clocks only. No manual clocks. Electronic Clocks:  All equipment available for Tipes users only. User of "ANY" other systems must bring their own equipment including their own compatible printer.

Measurements and
Winning Birds

The Oshawa Gold Bond Committee reserves the right to verify all winning birds and confirm all race measurements with GPS.
